The Thanksgiving Play

The Thanksgiving Play
Description

Good intentions + absurd assumptions = significant societal satire

Join us in our blackbox Acting Studio and revel in Larissa FastHorse’s wickedly funny satire, as a group of mismatched, terminally “woke” teaching artists struggles to devise a pageant that will celebrate the first Thanksgiving while being sensitive to indigenous culture. The Thanksgiving Play is a sharply barbed sendup of the politics of entertainment, school district policies, and wildly misguided though well-meaning attempts at political correctness.

The Thanksgiving Play
is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
