The relentless ringing of a cell phone in a quiet café. A lonely, frustrated woman at the next table. This wildly imaginative comedy by a MacArthur “Genius” Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist, demonstrates the ways in which commemorate the dead, and how the memories changes us. Dead Man’s Cell Phone is the journey of a woman forced to challenge her own assumptions about integrity, redemption, and the need to connect in a world fanatically preoccupied with technology.
