The World Goes ‘Round

As NU Theatre continues to produce the canon of Kander and Ebb, come relive some of the most exciting music in Broadway and Hollywood history — all performed, designed, and stage-managed by a company of NU Theatre alumni. Some of the Broadway musicals and Hollywood films include “New York, New York,” “Chicago,” “Funny Lady,” “Cabaret,” “Kiss of the Spider Woman” and many more.

Whereas the Beyreuth Festival in Germany has been producing the canon of Richard Wagner for many successful years, in a very similar fashion — only different, NU Theatre has been producing the canon of Kander and Ebb for many successful years: “Cabaret” (1974/75 and 2007/08), “Zorba” (1986/87), “Chicago” (1994/95 and 2005/06), “Steel Pier” (1998/99), “The Happy Time” (2001/02), “Flora, the Red Menace” (2004/05), “The Rink” (2008/09), “The World Goes ’Round” (2010/11).
