As one of the oldest professional theatre programs in the region, Niagara University Theatre has strived to achieve three objectives in its mission:
Niagara University Theatre, the producing entity of the Department of Theatre and Fine Arts at Niagara University, has been proudly entertaining and educating audiences since 1964. Each season strives for great variety in our productions, ranging from classical to contemporary, musical to physical theatre, traditional to new works. Our productions provide students the opportunities to apply knowledge, skills, and techniques explored in class.
As one of the oldest professional theatre training programs in the region, we are well-known for preparing you for careers that can take you anywhere from Broadway to Hollywood. Our unique curriculum fuses a conservatory approach to theatre training with a liberal arts education. You’ll engage with an intense schedule and disciplined focus on academic coursework and practical production experience.
In 2010, Niagara University Theatre celebrated the opening of the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre and the newly renovated Leary Theatre.

Located between Niagara Falls and the beautiful Village of Lewiston, N.Y., there is always something to do in the scenic Niagara region.
Our Box Office, located in the lobby of the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre, is open Monday-Friday 12:30pm-4pm and 1 hour prior to every performance.
All tickets are now digital, and can be purchased by visiting each production’s page, or by going directly to our ticketing website.
